Sephora rarely has a sale (only twice a year!!), so when it does, you better be prepared to stock up on your favorites and also to shop the new arrivals. Most of these arrivals have been out for a while now so I did get the chance to test them out before featuring them. So, skip the endless pages of new arrivals, save some $$, and continue reading to find out what to buy at the Sephora sale!
Do you like effortless and easy makeup? Do you struggle with blending eyeshadows? If you answered yes to either of those questions then you’ll love these! One side is a velvety matte and the other side is a metallic in a complementing shade. The matte side blends so easily with either your finger or a brush and dries down completely (doesn’t transfer). Use your finger to pat the metallic shade on the center of your eyelid and VOILA you’re done! (Favorite shades: Double Pump Latte, Drop Top (matte tan and golden glitter) and Private Jet, Shimmering Sunset (matte pink and amber glitter)
Sticking with the effortless theme, these eyeshadows will basically blend themselves! The palette is mostly neutral with some mauvey-pink shades. The mattes blend really easily with a fluffy brush and the shimmers could be patted on the center of your eyelid with your finger. The shimmers are also mostly sheer so they are perfect for both day and night looks. This palette is a great option if you want all your eyeshadows in one place (also compact and perfect for traveling).
It’s almost summer so brace yourselves for sticky weather! The exact weather that requires SPF and fuss-free coverage and this BB cream fits this criteria. It has medium coverage, doesn’t feel heavy on the skin, blurs pores, protects your skin, and is pretty long-lasting for a BB cream. If you had to buy one foundation at the Sephora sale, do yourself a favor and pick this up.
ABH’s Brow Gel and Dipbrow had a miracle baby! It sets your eyebrows in place while having the pigment power of the dipbrow so, all you need to do is brush it through and you’re done! If you haven’t noticed, effortless is the theme here.
If you LOVE dewy skin that doesn’t feel greasy, you’ll love this! I use this product in two ways: mixed with my foundation for an all over glow or in the smallest amount ever on the high points of my face. It truly looks reflective and glowy with ZERO GLITTER flecks. (I love all 3 shades for use on clients with different skin tones)
Just like the name suggests, this is a multi-use product. It has a creamy matte finish and is very buildable. This product could be used as a cream blush (pat it with your fingers or beauty sponge on the cheeks), as a lip stain (use a lip brush to blend it), or as a cream eyeshadow (blend out with your fingers or fluffy brush). I love creating a monochromatic look with these (eyes, lips, and cheeks using the same product) because of how fast and chic it looks! (Before Today and Waking Up are my favorite shades)
7. Biba Palette – Natasha Denona $129
If you’re ever going to splurge on a Natasha Denona palette, it better be during a Sephora sale. This is an all neutral palette with cool, warm, and neutral tones. It has both shimmers and mattes and blends so effortlessly (word of the day apparently). If you only wear neutral eyeshadows and will be using this palette on a daily basis, it is definitely worth it.
It’s hydrating, long wearing, waterproof, staining, and comes in 3 beautiful shades. What else do you want from a lip product?? (Orange Fizz is gorgeous!!)
9. Lip Glowy Balm – La Neige $15
This is your everyday solution for dry lips in a tube. I have the shade Berry and it has the slightest pink tint that gives you a “your lips but better” look. It’s also very hydrating and feels like a balm, but looks like a gloss!! What kind of sorcery is that?
We all have those lipsticks that live at the bottom of our purse right? Well these will definitely join the group! They give a sheer wash of color and are very hydrating. This makes them super easy to reapply (you’ll have to reapply eventually because it isn’t a transfer proof formula). They also come in a wide range of beautiful shades.
It was very hard to narrow the new arrivals (makeup only) section to only 10 products!! On the bright side, these are tried and tested products that perform amazingly and are worth a look. What are you planning on buying at the Sephora sale? Let me know because I’m still shopping!
P.S: Two more sale recommendation guides will be up this week: one for makeup newbies (what to buy if you’re just starting out with makeup) and one for skincare junkies!
As always, if you have any questions, just leave them in the comment section!
